Another month starting out with a BANG as we have the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Libra kicking us off energetically on Wednesday the 2nd at 11:46am (for the eclipse peak), and 11:49am (for the New Moon)! This South Node Eclipse is about LETTING GO of the past in order to make way for your beautiful future, and of course, depending on where Libra lands in your birth chart (as well as where the other Cardinal signs land – Capricorn // Cancer & Aries!) this eclipse will either take you for a ride or simply pass you by! 😊
We cannot plant new seeds (New Moon) for our personal sense of self-worth to flourish & surround ourselves with the correct relationships for us (Libra) without first doing some weeding in the garden that is our life! Let’s also not forget that Black Moon Lilith is connecting with the Sun, Moon, S. Node and Mercury during this eclipse in Libra, reminding us to not allow the FEAR OF LONELINESS to take over, as this can sabotage all of the hard work we have done on ourselves to attract the right partner, the right friendships, etc. into our lives. Keep your eyes wide open for those red flags of co-dependency that lead to toxic relationship patterns, and intentionally engage with others by building inter-dependency together!

Who’s deciding to go retrograde this month to get more clarity on some unfinished business? Jupiter! Jupiter will begin his retrograde motion on Wednesday the 9th at 12:04am. When planets go retrograde, it’s a time to REFLECT on paths that we have walked down before. With Jupiter, this can be a calling for us to travel down the mental roads we’ve taken these past several months that it’s been in the sign of Gemini, to get clear about what we want to refine and move forward with, and what we can erase from the vision board!
With Pluto just a couple days later on Friday the 11th at 5:34pm turning direct once more to slowly inch his way back into the sign of Aquarius (officially settling in the sign of the Water Bearer, yes, for the next 20+ years!!), this is an opportunity for us to fully wrap up the end of the Patriarchal structures we’ve been living in for far too long. The timelines are finally ready to shift: will you be a part of the stagnant collective past, or the limitless communal future?
Who’s shifting signs this month? Mercury, Venus and the Sun, woohoo! Mercury will be dancing into the sign of Scorpio on Sunday the 13th at 12:23pm, Venus into Sagittarius on Thursday the 17th at 12:28pm (same day as the Full Moon in Aries, keep your eyes open for that forecast soon!) and the Sun will settle into Scorpio on Tuesday the 22nd at 3:15pm.
Mercury in Scorpio wants DEEP & INTIMATE COMMUNICATION, so don’t hold back as you traverse the shadow realms with your loved ones! There’s no subject too taboo for Mercury in Scorpio to explore, so enjoy the candid conversations during this time, as you’ll have lots of mental chewing gum to satisfy the senses!
Venus in Sagittarius wants to connect us with our SENSE OF ADVENTURE and activate our DARING VISIONS, so allow this energy to elevate you to the next level you wish your life to take! There’s an opportunity here to truly manifest your life goals & dreams, so be sure to attend to the little details during this time, and you will see yourself go further than you had previously imagined!
The Sun entering Scorpio Season is a time for us to tap into our Inner Witch/Wizard (time to brush up on your spellcasting & potion-making! Teehee). I wanted to end with the fact that the Pagan holy-day known as Samhain/Hallowmas (known as Halloween here in the Modern Western world) will be wrapping us up on the 31st. I found a beautiful excerpt from the We’Moon 2024 planner on this significant holy-day that I will end this forecast with here.

Samhain
Utilize some of your precious vitality to honor the mystery, transformation and release of the season. Beautiful creatures are preparing for the darker days. Trees display their alchemy as the leaves change color before their final release, a gentle nudge for us to pull our energy inward and downward. The veil is very thin during this time of year. In the midst of sweet celebrations, may we be called to tend to and remember the wisdom and resourcefulness of the ancestors. Your righteous ancestors are on the ready. Focused intentions and many hearts make light work. What do we wish for ourselves, for our loved ones, for our communities and for the Earth? In the shadow realm, what conflicts and trauma require reconfiguration in this season and which ones do we let die? Take some time to honor your ancestors, known and unknown. Visit their gravesites or sit at your altar. Give them their flowers and offer them water and their favorite foods. Create spaciousness for deep listening and grief rituals to release. Honor tears of loss for our loved ones, our old ways of being and for the Great Mother, who is unwavering in her abundance, support & magic.
