November Astro-Update

Welcome to November, my Star Sisters & Brothers!

What could be more auspicious than starting the 1st of this month with a New Moon?! We’ve got the New Moon in Scorpio peaking at 5:47am on Friday the 1st, setting the tone for us this month! And guess what?! We’ve got two New Moons blessing us this month, the second being on the last day of November in Sagittarius!! (more to come on this in the next New Moon newsletter).

What’s beautiful about the aspects leading up to this New Moon on the 1st is that Mercury & Neptune will be coming together to have a friendly exchange in the cosmos, exactly on the eve of Samhain (known as Halloween to most). Time to Commune with Your Spirit Guides, Star Fam!! The gates are open between the mundane (Mercury) and spirit (Neptune) worlds, so take out your broomsticks & wands for some potent spell-casting!

Dia de los Muertos, celebrated in Mexico as the “Day of the Dead,” also sets the tone every year for our November on the 1st: this is a time to honor our ancestors and teachers who have passed through this realm & into the next. Remember to set your altar with their favorite foods & drinks, so that they may enjoy the realm of the living on the night the veil is thin between our two worlds.

Mercury and Mars are swimming out of their respective water signs and jumping into the fire this month, with Mercury dancing into Sagittarius on Saturday the 2nd at 12:17pm and Mars into Leo on Sunday the 3rd at 8:09pm. We will start to feel a big shift during this time from feeling more internal to becoming more external with this elemental transition of the personal planets, especially around how we communicate (Mercury) and take action (Mars) in our lives. So, if you have been feeling especially sensitive and perhaps even a little unmotivated (Mars in Cancer has a hard time with getting itself out there, LOL), get ready to get that internal fire lit up inside of you again!

SIDE NOTE: Mercury will be making its last retrograde motion of the year on the 25th at 6:42pm, so mark your calendars for that time period (lasting until Sunday, December 15th). This will be a wonderful time to reflect back on what took place in your life from November 7th (when Mercury enters 6 degrees of Sagittarius & where it will be retrograding back to) to November 25th: take inventory and refine your visions (Sagittarius) during this time!

Venus will be saying farewell to Sagittarius as she enters Capricorn on the 11th at 10:26am. This transition from fire to earth symbolizes our need to MANIFEST & MATERIALIZE OUR VISIONS that were created in the realm of Seeker Sag. In Capricorn, we are here to step into SELF-MASTERY, as well, so let’s get to work, friends! Because Capricorn requires us to go all in: it takes dedication & discipline to manifest our dreams into reality. Create a REAL PLAN for yourself that you know you can execute during this time: your sense of self-worth (Venus) will thank you for it!

Luckily, we’ve got Lord Saturn, Ruler of Time & Space, on our side here, as he moves out of his retrograde motion & turns direct on Friday the 15th at 6:20am (same day as the Full Moon in Taurus – more on this in the Full Moon forecast later this month!). Saturn is the natural ruler of Capricorn, so this forward motion will lend itself favorably to the energy needed to achieve our goals with Venus dancing through Capricorn at this time. 🙂

Last, but certainly not least, we’ve got Pluto FINALLY landing in Aquarius (for good this time!!) on Tuesday the 19th at 12:28pm, heralding this “Age of Aquarius” for us collectively. Fasten your seat belts, Star Seeds, for this transition could prove to be a bumpy ride, especially as it comes soon after the U.S. presidential election, LOL. There is sure to be a clinging-on for some to the old paradigm of the Patriarchy (Capricorn), but a welcoming of the new paradigm for those of us ready to Individuate (Aquarius) in this lifetime.

And let’s not forget, the Sun will be shifting from Scorpio Season to Sagittarius Season on Thursday the 21st at 11:56am! Time for us to shed light (Sagittarius) on what once was hidden in the dark (Scorpio).
