Welcome to the final New Moon of the Western astrological year, Star Sisters & Brothers! ๐
This New Moon in Pisces peaks at 5:44pm MST on Thursday, February 27th. With the โPisces Partyโ happening in the cosmos, gathering at the roundtable not only the Sun & Moon, but also Mercury, Saturn, Neptune and the North Node of the Moon, some of us may feel like we are swimming freely and others perhaps like we are drowning, LOL. ๐ Our mission, if we so choose to accept it, is to dive deep into all things Pisces: our meditative & spiritual practices, our ability to love unconditionally and have compassion for the collective unconscious realms, as well as close out these final chapters we are writing for our lives at the end of this astrological cycle we are currently in. What do these final words FEEL like to you, and what new intentions are you planting for yourself, as we approach the end of March, when the new astrological year begins?
Although Mars, the planet of our drives & ambitions, has finally gone direct this past Sunday, we only have a few days of that forward-moving energy until Venus stations to go retrograde on Saturday, March 1st at 5:37pm MST. Venus represents our VALUES: what we value in ourselves & what we value in others, which leads us to engage in partnership & relationship. While she is retrograding through the early degrees of Aries and the late degrees of Pisces over the next 5-6 weeks, now is the perfect time to revamp your intimate relationships, figuring out what needs a little extra sparkle and what needs to be thrown out within your relationship dynamics. She also represents the financial realm, so definitely think twice before purchasing that shiny object during Venus retrograde, as you may have a change of heart after she goes direct, LOL! ๐
Mercury will be shifting into the sign of Aries on Monday, March 3rd at 2:04am MST, soon-to-be joining Venus to have a chat about how sheโs engaging with her surroundings. Are you speaking your truth by listening to your gut instincts about x, y and z? Or are you still reacting from a trigger-happy place that has yet to be addressed? Remember, when Venus stationed to turn retrograde, she was within a 10-degree orb of Chiron, the Wounded Healer, so this time period is also marked by the need to do some deep core-wound healing within yourself. Mercury will remind you of that healing work that still needs to be done when he gets closer to Chiron around late April-early May, as well, if there is any unfinished business lingering about come that time! ๐ One last thing to note: if you have planets in your chart that are in the later degrees (19-29) of the mutable signs or the early degrees of the cardinal signs (0-15), you will definitely be feeling this Venus retrograde time more intensely than others!
Create a serene space, light some candles, and play soft, ambient music. Sit comfortably, close your eyes, and focus on your breath. Visualize yourself floating in a vast ocean, feeling supported by the water. Allow any thoughts or emotions to drift away like waves, bringing your awareness back to your breath.
Take some time to reflect on your thoughts and feelings. Write down any dreams, fears, or desires that come to mind. Use prompts such as “What am I ready to release?” and “What new intentions do I want to set?” to guide your journaling.
Draw a card or a spread to gain insight into your current situation and the energies of the New Moon. Use the messages from the cards to guide your intentions and actions for the coming lunar cycle.
Work with crystals associated with Pisces and the New Moon, such as amethyst, aquamarine, and moonstone. Hold them during meditation, place them under your pillow, or create a crystal grid to enhance your spiritual practices.
Since Pisces is a water sign, incorporating water into your rituals can be especially powerful. Take a cleansing bath with sea salt and essential oils, or perform a ritual by a body of water, such as a lake or the ocean. As you connect with the water, visualize it washing away any negativity and filling you with positive energy.
Sit comfortably and close your eyes. Visualize yourself as a child, and imagine offering them love, support, and understanding. Allow yourself to feel any emotions that arise, and give your inner child the reassurance they need. This meditation can help heal past wounds and foster self-compassion.
Focus on your heart center and imagine a green light glowing there. With each breath, visualize the light growing brighter and expanding. Feel the love and compassion emanating from your heart, and allow it to fill your entire being. This meditation can help open your heart to unconditional love and forgiveness.
Find a guided meditation that resonates with you, or create your own. Imagine yourself in a peaceful, sacred space, where you can connect with your higher self and receive guidance. Allow the imagery to flow naturally, and trust the messages you receive.
